For four weeks during the summer, Rainbow School takes an inter-disciplinary approach to a special topic weaving together language arts, science, math, and social studies. Programs are available for preschool and first through fourth grade students.
Rainbow has been creating an exciting, Whole Science experience for children for nearly forty years, perfecting classic discovery in every possible way for every possible discipline and looking for and inventing new construction and demonstration in groups and individually. After all this time, we think our program is robust and stimulating but FUN. What Rainbow has always done has a new catchphrase: STEM. But we do more, by including artistic illustration with paint, crayon, chalk, dye, bones, leaves, clay, paper, foil, PVC, cubes, cups, liquids, solids and gases. Nothing is too ordinary or extraordinary: we will try it! Our Little Scientists smiles and “take home” experience builds a solid base for future excellence.
Spanish is taught at Rainbow as part of the Preschool and Kindergarten curriculum. Classes for elementary school children are held after school. The teachers are native speakers from The Spanish Language Institute. For more information visit www.spanishlanguageinstitute.net.
